The State University of New York is one of the most respected education systems in the United States. Founded in 1828, its 64 campuses in New York are home to a passionate community of professors, researchers, and students from around the world. In cooperation with IBS Americas, international students have available two formats of executive programs: intensive three-week summer/winter presential courses and semester-long blended courses, with online classes over 4 months and 8 days in person in NY for in-depth learning activities at the end of the semester.
The summer/winter 3-weeks courses consist of full-day lessons and company visits, bringing to life the concepts addressed in class. An opportunity for immersion into the American business and cultural reality in the region of cities like New York, Boston, Washington DC and other spots of touristic interest in the 3 free weekends during the stay.
The semester-long hybrid programs offer 4 months of live online classes via Zoom and 8 intensive days of company visits and classes at the Albany campus at the end of the course. In 194 hours of classes, guided activities and company visits, the participants build and solidify essential professional skills in the most relevant international business concepts and tools. The course runs from March to July or September to January, with the participation of young professionals from different academic and ethnic backgrounds, and also allows two free weekends in the New York area.
In both program formats classes are taught by experienced faculty, Ph.Ds and Market Specialists, that will introduce you to new perspectives and best practices in various scenarios. Guided company visits are the perfect opportunity to explore the American corporate world, hear firsthand the challenges business leaders faced, as well as expand your professional network. The visit to the UN headquarters in Manhattan will broaden your understanding of international relations. All of this, in addition to a Business English course that will boost your communication skills, is offered to students and young professionals from all continents.
Offered in cooperation with the Business Sustainability Research Center of IBS Americas, this program offers Sustainable Management best practices from executives and professionals from all over the world.
